Comtrol launches unmanaged ES7206-XT Gigabit extended temperature Power over Ethernet switch

Industrial-grade, 802.3af/at PoE+ switch is designed for integration of mission-critical PoE devices in IP security, access control, in-vehicle, and intelligent transportation systems.

Comtrol launches unmanaged ES7206-XT Gigabit extended temperature Power over Ethernet switch

The unmanaged RocketLinx ES7206-XT PoE+ industrial switch features four Gigabit 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, one copper Gigabit uplink port and one Gigabit SFP uplink port supporting multi-mode or single-mode fiber connections.

Designed for outdoor PoE applications with its extended operating temperature range, the RocketLinx ES7206-XT 6-port Gigabit PoE+ switch can operate from -40°C to 75°C. Combined with its ruggedized features, the unmanaged switch has a full 120W power budget for maximizing power delivery, a wide 12V to 36V input voltage range, and a compact, DIN rail mount housing that enable the ES7206 to satisfy a wide variety of PoE integration requirements.

Featuring Voltage Boost technology, the ES7206-XT enables direct 12-36 VDC input supporting vehicle, building, and factory power systems while delivering reliable power to PoE devices. Voltage Boost and a 'plug-n-play' installation makes it easy for security and traffic integrators to deploy. Advanced capabilities and NEMA TS2 certification for traffic applications enable the switch to provide reliable PoE connectivity under extreme conditions.

The Gigabit copper and fiber uplink ports allow connectivity for the connected high power, high bandwidth PoE devices, such as access points and HD pan/tilt/zoom cameras. Redundant power inputs, polarity and over-current protection, and a configurable alarm relay round out the safety characteristics.

The RocketLinx ES7206-XT is also well suited for IP surveillance, transportation, mining, and other demanding PoE applications.
