NVT develops new TBus® IP Transmission product series
TBus is a backbone communications architecture for NVT’s range of IP transmission devices. The long distance Ethernet TBus delivers 56VDC power for remote transceivers as well as their remote Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices such as IP cameras.
The new NVT TBus PoE+ Transmitters are compact bus-architected media converters that deliver 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and PoE+ power and supports all forms of coax and UTP cable, as well as 18/2, 2-wire (un-twisted wire), and STP (shielded twisted-pair) in any combination of star, peer-to-peer, or daisy-chain cabling topology. The transmitters are simple to use, with no IP or MAC addressing required. Status LEDs indicate power and link connectivity, quality, and activity for RJ45 and TBus ports. For maximum power distance, 56VDC appears on all eight RJ45 pins
Powering PoE (IEEE 802.3af), PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), or high power PoE devices up to 50 watts, the NVT Series transmitters advanced 128-bit AES encrypted transmission. With built-in transient protection and industrial temperature range, the NVT Series transmitters are well-suited for a variety of applications.
Providing 100 BaseT transmission and network speeds up to 150 Mbps at distances up to 8,000ft, the NVT TBus PoE+ Transmitters are available in two versions, the single-port NV-ET1801 and the four-port NV-ET1804 TBus PoE+ Transmitters. Both models are designed to work with any TBus receiver.
