Phybridge switch transforms analog COAX into an IP network with PoE capability
The CLEER (Coax Leveraged Ethernet Extended Reach) switch is the industry’s first 24-port managed switch specifically for deploying fast Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) over a coax infrastructure.
Phybridge is pleased to bring to market the CLEER (Coax Leveraged Ethernet Extended Reach) switch that delivers fast Ethernet and PoE over a coax infrastructure with reach of 2,000 feet. The 24-port managed switch comes standard with PowerWISE and has full Layer 2 switch capabilities. The advanced GUI interface simplifies configuring, managing, and deploying the switch.
The CLEER switches and the EC-Link are designed to provide PoE flexibility. PoE can be delivered from the switch through the EC-Link to the IP end point, or by locally powering the EC-Link adapter that delivers up to 25W of power to the endpoint.
The CLEER PoE switch delivers 100Mbs symmetrical, and is ideal for the migration from analog cameras to IP cameras or IP-enabling an apartment, guest room, or patient room with end points such as IP TV, IP phones, or IP access points.
Powered by PoLRE, the CLEER switch backbone complements the data switch fabric and you are guaranteed a dedicated secure path and bandwidth for the video streams with no data LAN dependencies due to the physical separation of the video stream. Solid and dependable, these switches are built to withstand tough operating environments.
The CLEER PoE switch comes equipped with power sharing, load balancing, AC/DC options, and a hot-swappable power supply.
