Thinlabs develops industry’s first all-in-one quad-core Power over Ethernet computer
Using standard PoE+ / 802.3at switches or injectors, the high performance, low power, cost-saving quad-core computer can be deployed where needed
Thinlabs has launched the world’s first all-In-one integrated computer with quad core technology conforming to IEEE’s Power Over Ethernet (PoE)802.3at+ standards. Powered by AMD's G Series SoC chipset, the fanless PoE quad core computer comes in an all-in-one integrated form factor. The computer is available in touch and non-touch options, and in a choice of 19" or 22" LED screen sizes.
Offering up to 1 TB of SSD storage, the computer runs on Power Over Ethernet technology, eliminating the need for costly power cabling and significantly reducing total cost of ownership. As the industry’s only PoE computer that can run a full Windows 7 or Windows 8 system installation on a touch screen, the efficient and low-power computer keeps total power consumption under 30W.
The device is lightweight with a depth of less than 2.75". These can be used as standard desktop computers, or as wall kiosks using standard VESA mounts.
The value of the PoE-enabled computing enterprise is further increased when managed with Thinlabs' latest remote device management solution, the Thinlabs Device Manager.
Thinlabs is targeting the healthcare, industrial, retail and services sectors, where PoE computers will provide maximize flexibility and performance while significantly lowering total costs and promoting a company's green computing initiatives.
