Power over Ethernet Plus Information - Most of these items appear in the main PoE Products page but are specifically designated as High Power PoE by the vendors.

The higher power version of POE which is called POE Plus and has the name IEEE802.3at, has been ratified at last with a maximum power of 25.5W. Some manufacturers are producing units with even more power available but would seem to fall outside the standard. Care must be used in selecting devices.
