High Reliability Solutions for Advantech's Power over Ethernet solutions can be used to power IEEE802.3af compliant devices through a standard Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for additional wiring. Advantech’s PoE solutions include both managed and unmanaged switches, support -40 to 75° C operating temperatures, fiber optic connections and compact and rugged metal chassis to serve a variety of applications.

These ruggedized designs can withstand extreme conditions to ensure applications continue operating reliably. 3,000 VDC surge (EFT) protection for power lines, 4000 VDC ESD protection for Ethernet ports, compact metal housings with an IP30 rating to protect against dust or particles, and a compact DIN-rail mount chassis for limited space.
